I am Scott L. Prentice — writer, director, producer, and AI team leader of Sonic Forge Productions.

Sonic Forge Labs is our living laboratory of sound, a creative sanctuary where human artistry and cutting-edge AI and other tech work in seamless partnership. Together with my team, we explore uncharted territories of frequency, timbre, instrumentation, voice, software, hardware, lyrics, melody, harmony, rhythm, and resonance. Every experiment is guided by a deeper purpose: to push the boundaries of what music can be while remaining firmly rooted in human emotion, intention, and healing.

At Sonic Forge Productions, we do not replace the human heart with machines; we amplify it. Our mission is discovery through fearless creativity, using music as a force for healing, joy, love, communication and transformation. We believe that certain frequencies, melodies, and harmonies can touch the core of human experience, restore balance, and awaken well-being. That belief drives every note we craft.

Our Philosophy on AI
AI is simply a tool — an extraordinarily powerful one — but a tool nonetheless. It belongs in the long lineage of instruments and technologies that humanity has always used to shape sound and frequency: the electric organ, the synthesizer, the guitar amplifier, the mixing console, the laptop, and the software workstation. When the first electric organ was plugged in, it sparked controversy; every meaningful advance in music has faced its naysayers. AI is no different.

At Sonic Forge Productions, we embrace AI as one of the most promising tools ever created for expanding human creative and therapeutic potential — comparable in its transformative impact to the way the MRI revolutionized medicine. We see it opening entirely new genres, new forms of expression, and, most importantly, new pathways to healing that were previously unimaginable.

Our inaugural research and development focus in this domain is neurodivergence and autism spectrum conditions. Early feedback from collaborators, clinicians, and the neurodivergent community has been extraordinary; many already regard Sonic Forge Labs as a pioneer in this vital new frontier of music-based therapeutic intervention. We intend to remain at the forefront, continuing to develop evidence-informed, human-centered sonic experiences that promote regulation, joy, communication, and well-being.

The following from Sonic Forge Labs; “Echoes of Dawn” is our first actual sample of using all of the above techniques and tools. In the lab it is known as Boneglow Silence #1 – Cracks of Silence:

EVO’s electric lineup fuses raw rock fury with pulsing electronic orchestra depths: Jax Renner commands the front with searing vocals and razor-sharp guitar riffs, dueling alongside Rip Current’s blistering lead lines. Kira Dawn weaves haunting female vocals through steel guitar, violin, and keys, while Shane “Shred” Sykes drives the low-end thunder on bass and layered keyboards. Lana Pulse anchors the rhythm with unrelenting drums and percussion, and Tate “Neon” Moon orchestrates the atmospheric synths that tie it all into a hypnotic, futuristic storm.
