Like many of you, I’m relatively new to exploring AI hands-on, though I’ve followed its advancements for over two decades. Diving deep into AI’s applications, biases, intelligence, and inner workings has me constantly reflecting on its future, my own, and humanity’s as a whole. I suppose that’s just my entrepreneurial mind at work.
For the past few months, I’ve been captivated by Julia McCoy’s YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/@juliamccoy), which offers a fascinating blend of AI-driven content.

Her channel, branded as “the world’s first 100% AI clone, humanly-run channel on AI news,” openly uses an AI clone of Julia, suggesting the content is either fully AI-generated or heavily AI-augmented, potentially with deepfake technology, AI voice synthesis, or digital avatars. The “humanly-run” aspect implies human oversight, likely blending AI elements with scripted or curated input. What keeps me hooked, though, is her use of real-world scenarios to ground her discussions.
Julia’s channel stands out for its critical, non-hype perspective on AI. As the founder of First Movers, she explores AI and quantum technology’s impact on careers, jobs, and the future, including topics like AGI, post-labor economics, and universal basic income (UBI). Her ability to project future trends based on her deep knowledge of computing history is remarkable.
As a Jesus-follower and God-believer, she also encourages viewers to break free from outdated programming, find passion and meaning, and prepare for a world where labor and capital may decouple.
I leave you with this captured snippet from her original YouTube post to ponder life, your future and how you might use AI as a tool or just how this integrates into all of our lives and what it really means.
Her video (https://youtu.be/s4laDaBUC1s) is a great example of her approach, diving into AI’s implications with clarity and foresight. Whether it’s fully AI-generated or not, it’s a compelling watch, and I’m excited to share it with you. Check it out and join me in exploring this AI-driven rabbit hole!
